First Meeting Of IN-TOUCH Project

IN-TOUCH: Increasing Tactile and Oral Understanding of through Cultural Heritage

We are pleased to officially announce the launch of our new project: “IN-TOUCH – Inclusive Training for Operators Using Cultural Heritage.”
This initiative is dedicated to making artistic and cultural heritage more accessible and inclusive for people with visual impairments, through the development of innovative training pathways and multisensory experiences.

Kick-off Meeting – December 2, 2025:
The project officially began with an online Kick-off Meeting that brought together all partners: MDE, INVIVO, and the Olomouc Museum of Art (OMA). This meeting marked a key moment of coordination and shared vision, laying the groundwork for the upcoming activities.

Project Partnership:
To achieve the objectives of IN-TOUCH, a complementary partnership has been established, with each organization contributing specific expertise:

* MDE, with its long-standing commitment to social and cultural inclusion, will define accessibility strategies and develop training models for cultural operators, promoting an educational approach that values diversity.
* Olomouc Museum of Art (OMA), a leading museum institution in the Czech Republic, will contribute its experience in inclusive education and active involvement of visually impaired individuals. Its role will be central in integrating tactile and narrative methodologies into cultural accessibility pathways.
* INVIVO, a cultural association specialized in digital innovation, will support the creation and dissemination of digital content and multisensory installations. Its expertise in 3D printing and digital technologies will be essential for both training and the development of tactile and auditory solutions for artworks.

Next Steps:
During the Kick-off Meeting, the first operational phases were planned and the roadmap was defined. In the coming months, the project will launch multidisciplinary training activities focused on cultural accessibility, technological innovation, and social inclusion.

We are thrilled to begin this collaborative journey and will keep you updated on future developments, activities, and achievements.

Thank you for supporting the IN-TOUCH project and its mission to make culture accessible to all.
